Royal New Zealand Ballet education and outreach activities for the Auckland Arts Festival 2022

Auckland Arts festival 2022 in partnership with The Royal New Zealand Ballet showcases Venus Rising. As part of the Auckland Arts Festival 2022 education offering, there are outreach workshops for schools and learners delivered by Royal New Zealand Ballet dance educators.

RNZB Creative Dance Workshops
Introduce your students to the joys of dance with workshops by our specialist dance educators, tailored to fit the age and ability of your students and based on Venus Rising.

Adapted Dance Workshops
Adapted Dance is a recreational dance practice adjusted for people with special needs. Dance movement is based on the abilities and strengths of each participant, developing mobility and body awareness. It’s a friendly and tolerant space where anyone can experience the joy of dancing!

Sit up and Dance
Join our Dance Educators in these gentle exercise sequences. Ballet-based and designed for people of all ages and exercise levels, choose from seated versions or more challenging standing versions - enjoy!
