How is Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland City described outside of official city maps? What other kinds of wayfinding exist beyond our known pathways? These questions and more will be answered in a series of seven new artist short films mapping out the city across the CBD.

Wild Wild Life will launch on the Auckland Live Digital Stage, as well as in other inner-city locations, to create a walking map of the CBD.

Featuring works by Tia Barrett, Leala Faleseuga, Gavin Hipkins, Jae Hoon Lee, Obadiah Russon, Layne Waerea and Gabriel White, the programme includes a queer road movie, sci-fi wanderings, the historical wairua of Kiekie, migration from Sāmoa to Māngere, legal definitions of public space, and meditations on our virtual interconnectedness.
