Te Uru Waitākere Contemporary Gallery - Avtar Singh

This is Avtar Singh’s first solo exhibition in a public institution and will survey her idiosyncratic approach to drawing. 

Working through entire journals of interest, notably National Geographic, Singh reproduces images and texts as colour-pencil drawings on paper, bringing a visual and artistic lens to the scientific study of her chosen subjects.
