Come an celebrate the Te Tuhi 'Extreme Makeover' season as they welcome everyone back to the gallery.
Join us for a season of house-warming parties, openings, book launches and other events throughout February and March 2026, as Te Tuhi reopens its doors in style.
After a one-off flooding incident closed the gallery in June 2025, the building has undergone what the team like to call an “Extreme Makeover: Gallery Edition” — a renovation that’s refreshed the entire space.
From early 2026, everyone is invited back through the doors to get to know Te Tuhi 2.0 — and, most importantly, to reengage with ambitious and exciting contemporary art.
