Artspace Aotearoa is a non-profit contemporary art gallery located in the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Founded in 1987 by artists and arts workers, it continues to be artist-led. Our work centres the ways in which art contributes to our understanding and reimagining of the world in which we live.
We work within a specific city context, and spiral out into national and international conversations that promote practices that present emancipatory world views. With a specific focus on developing an intergenerational kaupapa, we seek to present established, emerging and under-recognised positions.
We have one accessible park in our building's shared gated parking lot on East Street.
There is also one 60 minute accessible park in close proximity to the gallery located on the corner of East Street and Karangahape Rd on the south west side of the road.

Entering the gallery
The gallery has an accessible entrance with a gentle slope. The door is not automated and opens by pulling the right hand side door. If you require assistance please signal through the window to the Kaitiaki Toi Gallery Host or phone the gallery (09) 303 4965.
